People are at the core of all design and marketing. Understanding what drives a person in what they do, think, or feel while deciphering their motivations behind an intended goal is how you deliver a great product. Collaboration is the most vital part of my creative process and how I achieve the greatest success.
PHASE 1 - UNDERSTAND / CLARIFY
Understand the motivations and goals behind the project. Ask clarifying questions.
Potentially, conduct preliminary research to better understand the scope.
Determine if the project is the right fit.
PHASE 2 - GATHER / PLAN / DEVELOP
Once the project has commenced, conduct a deep dive of research and discovery then develop a plan of action.
Research -> Brainstorm -> Ideation -> Create a Plan of Action -> Present
PHASE 3 - EXECUTE
Agree on the direction and begin development.
This phase takes three rounds:
First round ensures the project is moving towards the intended goal while tweaking any major ideas.
Second round requires going over everything with a fine-tooth comb and making the necessary changes.
Final round is for client approval.
PHASE 4 - DEBRIEF
The project is completed.
Recap the project's successes and challenges.
Determine if any changes need to be made to the process for greater success with the next project.
